Our Story: A Pembrokeshire Passion

The Fudge Foundry began, as many of the best things do, with a simple love for chocolate. Our story started 7 years ago in my home kitchen, fuelled by a lifelong passion and a professional background as a chef and patisserie specialist. I wanted to turn the finest ingredients into small, delicious moments of joy.

For two years, every batch of fudge was crafted in that kitchen. As the love for our creations grew, we knew it was time for the next step. Five years ago, just before the world went into lockdown, we moved into our current unit in Pembrokeshire—a bold step that cemented our commitment to our craft and our community.

The story became a true partnership two years ago when my husband joined the team full-time. He shares my passion for producing the highest quality treats, and we love working together, side-by-side, every day. It's his dedication and my culinary background that form the heart of The Fudge Foundry today.

Our philosophy is simple: the best fudge comes from the best ingredients. That's why we use only the finest Belgian chocolate—in all its forms, from rich dark to creamy white. It's also why we are fiercely committed to our local community. Our butter is sourced locally, the sea salt in our salted caramel comes from right here in Wales, the fiery kick in our chilli fudge is from the Pembrokeshire Chilli Farm, and the warming spice in our apple rum fudge is thanks to the Pembrokeshire Cider Company.
