Rich, gooey brownies with ribbons of creamy Belgian fudge.

Ingredients

 

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Line a 20cm baking tin.
  • Melt butter and dark chocolate together; cool slightly.
  • Whisk eggs and sugar until pale and thick, then fold into the chocolate mix.
  • Sift in flour and cocoa powder. Stir gently.
  • Pour half the batter into the tin, scatter fudge cubes, then add the remaining batter.
  • Use a knife to swirl the fudge through.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until just set. Cool, then slice.

 

✹ Tip: Warm slightly before serving for extra gooeyness.
