Tudor Rose Fudge
The Tudor rose was created when Henry VII brought an end to the Wars of the Roses (an ongoing battle between two royal groups – the House of Lancaster and the House of York). He joined the White Rose of York with the Red Rose of Lancaster , creating the Union of the Tudor Rose.
The founder of the House of Tudor, Henry VII was born at Pembroke Castle in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
Hence the name The Tudor Rose Fudge!!
Now after that short history lesson I will tell you about the chocolate!
The chocolate is made from the "ruby Cocoa Beans "Ruby beans" are existing botanical cocoa bean varieties that have been identified as having the right attributes to be processed into ruby chocolate.
The chocolate's taste is described as "sweet yet sour with little to none " of the cocoa flavour traditionally associated with other varieties of chocolate.
This unique ruby chocolate has been lovingly created in to "The Tudor Rose Fudge"
With a delicate rose flavour and sweet undertones of raspberry this fudge is a must try for all chocolate lovers everywhere!
